During today’s EA conference at E3, the founder of the developer company behind Titanfall, Respawn’s Vince Zampella gave us a small tease about a new upcoming Star Wars game. We don’t know too much at the moment, but what we do know will knock your socks off. There is a new Star Wars game coming late 2019 called Jedi: The Fallen Order, and is being developed by the team behind the critically acclaimed best shooter, Titanfall 2.
The Fallen Order is said to be set after Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith, as you will be following a “surviving Padawan” during the rise of the dark side as they are hunting down the last of the Jedi. Zampella stated on Twitter that the game will be a single-player campaign that is “dark and gritty”.
There’s not too much to go on at the moment, no trailers, art or anything, but Zampella did say that you will be wielding a lightsaber. Given that Zampella found Treyarch and left the company after Modern Warfare 2 to now found Respawn and again make one of the best shooter games ever, there is a whole lot of reason to be excited about this.
